Witherup Fabrication & Erection, Inc.

These are pictures taken of a water tank fabricated and erected by Witherup in Barkeyville, PA.

 

 

 

 

This tank has a 20 foot diameter and stands 155 feet tall.

 

 

 

 

 

The tank was built in sections by two crews working simultaneously. The top section was then lifted into place and the final seam was welded.

 

 

 

 

 

The joining of these two sections was accomplished in less than one 8 hour shift.
